Joe has conducted several courses on Richard Rohr’s works, including A LEVER AND A PLACE TO STAND and FALLING UPWARD. Joe led the Advent Study in 2016. His text was Dr. Walter Brueggemann’s little paperback entitled Names for the Messiah. This year’s Bible study (2017-18) will include passages from Scripture and the book by Rob Bell, entitled What Is the Bible? Newcomers are welcome; prior knowledge is NOT necessary.
Joe taught an Educational Philosophy course at Ursuline College in the Ed Admin program and is recently retired from his role as Interim Dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. He continues as Dean of the Cleveland Ecumenical Institute for Religious Studies. See the website www.ceirs.org for more information on this year’s programs.
Joe will be preaching at Heights Christian Church on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Worship service that begins at 10 a.m. His sermon title for October 15 is: “Make Me a Sanctuary.”
